If you've had a plugged duct, lecithin supplements can be an effective way to both resolve plugs and keep them from happening again.
Lecithin is an essential fatty acid supplement carried at most grocery and drug stores in the vitamin and supplement aisle. It's used to reduce cholesterol and inflammation, and has been used around the world for generations to treat and prevent plugged ducts.
The dose is 1,200 mg capsules three times a day to resolve an active plugged duct and 1,200 mg once a day for prevention. Capsules are easier to take than loose granules.
