If your Lactation Consultant recommends a different size than our Sizing Quiz or customer service staff, it's probably because:
- Most Lactation Consultants don't have much experience or expertise in pumping or fitting pump flanges.
- Our flanges have an angled design so you can lean back while pumping without spilling milk, but it can be hard to see where the tunnel starts, making it harder to assess the flange fit.
- We know the ins and outs of fitting and sizing our flanges in a way that your Lactation Consultant may not.
- After over two decades of customer input and feedback about sizing our flanges, we've learned what works best in our flanges, which may or may not be the same as other flange brands.
With over twenty years of fitting mothers with our Sizing Quiz, we ask you to please trust our expertise and give our recommended size a good try. Even when the size is correct, though, many Lactation Consultants don't understand how our flanges work, how to correctly apply them, or what needs to change when there are problems. But we do!
