Pumpin’ Pal flanges are tapered at the spot where the hard ring is on a standard flange. If you have a slightly higher level of elasticity, the taper will allow more of you to get pulled in…if its’ quite a bit, the flange is too big and you need to drop a size….. or possibly two. Also, swelling is an unwanted reaction to trauma.
