Applying the flanges can be tricky but it’s like getting into a moving jump rope in Double Dutch……it’s all about the timing….and once you get it right it is very easy to do again.  It is imperative that you have the machine on first and have the pump on the expression mode.  You will not be deep enough in the flange yet if you apply them first and then turn on the pump.   You are going to use the suction of the pump to pull you up to the surface of the silicone.  We aren’t trying to pull the nipple into the tunnel as much as we are trying to remove any space between the areola and the surface of the flange.
